The City of Martinsville is seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills to respond to high volume customer inquiries/complaints pertaining to utility account information, service activation and/or disconnection in the Utility Billing Department. Will also input, retrieve and update customer data using a computerized system.

Comprehensive Services Coordinator

Henry County is seeking an individual to coordinate and monitor mandatory services provided to at-risk youth and families in Henry County, Patrick County and the City of Martinsville under the Comprehensive Services Act. Knowledge of human services management and current social, economic, and health challenges and resources available to children and families with special needs. Ability to prepare budgets and monitor expenses. Knowledge of Comprehensive Services Act services and programs. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in social work, public health, or related field; three to five years experience and/or training in human services or social work; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1415-01 Second Class Line Technician or Groundsman 

The City of Martinsville is seeking a skilled technician to work in the Electric Utility Field.  Position involves installation and maintenance of high voltage overhead and underground utility distribution lines. Duties include operating line and bucket trucks, digging holes and setting poles. 

Experience as a second class line technician or groundsman is preferred. A CDL is required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
