02/03/16 Due to budget restraints, the City will delay the painting of the Lime Solo at the Waste Water Treatment Plant until after July 1, 2016. As of March 1, 2017, the Purchasing Department has not been given a date to rebid this project. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Bid 1: Northside Neighborhood Improvement Plan for Dillard Street & Alley Improvements:
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Martinsville until Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Purchasing Office located at the City's Warehouse, 990 Fishel Street, in Martinsville. Work consists of reconstruction of approximately 1850 feet of Dillard Street. Construction paving approximately 337 feet of the alley from the intersection of Dillard Street and Ruffin Street and improve driveway access to three houses located off Warren Court. Approx. quantities 4500SY of pavement demolition, milling, 2200 tons of stone, and 1450 tons of asphalt. Drawings are included.
