Bid 1: Sealed proposals will be received by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, as per the following proposal:


The City of Martinsville, which is the owner of the West End Elementary School, located at 605 Fourth Street, is soliciting sealed proposals to re – use or redevelop this building, along with the playground area, located on this property. This property has historical significance to the West End community, having been one of the centers of education for many of the residents who still reside within the neighborhood. It presently houses the offices of the Housing Division of the Department of Community Development, along with a voting precinct. It is projected that as of June 30, 2015, the offices of the Housing Division will be vacated.

Bid 2: Sealed bids will be received at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 for Road De-Icing Salt, as per bid specifications.

Bid 3: Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, for Janitorial Services at the Central Warehouse Complex, located at 990 and 1000 Fishel Street, Martinsville, as per the specifications.

Bid 4: Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015, to contract with a firm for the purchase of 1 ton cylinders of Liquid Chlorine for the City's Wastewater Plant, as per bid specifications.
