Bid 1: Sealed bids will be received until Friday, October 31, 2014, by the City of Martinsville, Va., to contract with a firm for WTP Filter Media Replacement as per specifications.

Bid 2: Emergency Construction Services, Finley Street Storm Drainage Project - Pipe Repair. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the site on Monday, October 20th at 10:00 a.m. This is an emergency request.
Bid 3: Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2014, to contract with a firm to furnish Adtran Drives and Switches, as per specifications.
Bid 4: Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014, to contract with a firm for the purchase of one 2015 Ford F-150 4x4 SuperCrew Cab Styleside Pickup Truck, as per bid specifications.
A state contract will be issued soon for this pickup. The City will compare your prices to this state contract. The City does reserve the right to accept or reject this contract. It may be used for comparison or to purchase from.
Bid 5: Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014, to furnish and/or install 2 Generators at the City Jail, located at 55 W Church Street, Martinsville, Va. Contractor is to furnish and install one 125kw generator at the new City Jail, and install an existing 36kw Generator at the old City Jail, as per proposal specifications. Contact Abe Powell at 276-340-0860 to schedule a job site visit.
Bid 6: Piedmont Arts & the City of Martinsville are applying for an NEA Our Town Grant to develop the museum's public art garden and are seeking proposals for original, three-dimensional artwork that will be installed outdoors in the garden, located at the corner of Starling Avenue & Mulberry Road in Martinsville, Va. This RFP is open to all professional artists and artists teams over the age of 18, who currently reside in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Applications and materials must be received by Friday, November 28, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. EST. No exceptions. See attached proposal.
