1. The City is soliciting "back of the envelope proposals" from pre-qualified Energy Services Companies (ESCOs) to identify the need for, design, install, and monitor a comprehensive Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program, based on an evaluation of city's electric and water metering assets. A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at the City Munipical Building, located at 55 W Church Street, in Room 208 Conference Room. The "back of the envelope audits" will be due by Friday, March 14, 2014, by 4:00 p.m. (RFP due date has been changed to March 14, 2014)
2. The City of Martinsville, Virginia, is interested in reducing the volume of e-waste such as discarded computer and electronic equipment entering our transfer station each day. Therefore, the City will receive proposals from recycling companies who can offer a solution to this growing concern. 3. Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20th, 2014 for repair to Waterproof a Metal Roof at our Waste Water Treatment Plant Sludge Building.
4.. Sealed Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014 to contract with a firm for the Grinding and Disposal of the existing Brush and Chip Pile including Removal from Site.
