Travel News
We're planning a spring trip to the Wohlfahrt Haus in May to see the musical Oklahoma which is a high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers & cowboys and paints the backdrop against which Curly & Laurey play out their love story. Beginning a new life together in a brand-new state provides the ultimate climax to this Rogers & Hammerstein classic. "Best Musical of the 20th Century" says the New York Drama League.
In June we plan to travel to the Greensboro Barn Dinner Theatre to the comedy musical revue. ALL HANDS ON DECK - based on Bob Hope's 1943 USO tour to the troops in the field, featuring classic Big Band hits all packaged in the fun-filled true-to-life reproduction of the kind of USO show Bob Hope & Jack Benny would have taken to the troops. Classic humor and great music from those special days of road shows, war-bond drives & radio broadcasts.
For full details concerning either of these trips please call the Senior Center at 403-5260.
