02/03/16 Due to budget restraints, the City will delay the painting of the Lime Solo at the Waste Water Treatment Plant until after July 1, 2016. As of May 18, 2017, the Purchasing Department has not been given a date to rebid this project. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Work consists of rehabilitating in situ corrugated metal pipe including utilizing approved hydrophilic polyurethane resin for joint repair, a hydrophobic polyurethane injection resin to backgrout all necessary joints and fastening culvert grade aluminum plates using a unique riveting-type process, throughout the corroded invert. The pipes to be repaired are 63 feet each, 72-inch corrugated metal pipe.
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, by the City of Martinsville to contract with a firm or firms to furnish new Water Department Materials, such as saddles, tees, valves, piping, etc., as per bid specifications.
