The Public Works Department provides services and facilities for the citizens of Martinsville, including roadway construction, maintenance, and repair, street cleaning and right of way maintenance, refuse and bulk trash collection, engineering, municipal building maintenance, traffic signal and sign maintenance, fleet maintenance, and recycling.
Public Works employees are among the most visible of Martinsville's representatives because of the type and location of work they do throughout the city.
Martinsville's Public Works Department strives to provide citizens with service quickly, efficiently and reliably and is our central office is located in Room 226, second floor of the Municipal Building.
