The City of Martinsville and Henry County will host Household Hazardous Waste Day on April 12, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Bassett Service Center at 2285 Fairystone Park Highway, Bassett, VA 24055.
You may bring the following items:
- Solvents
- Paints
- Fuels
- Automobile fluids
- Lead acid batteries, computer equipment, cell phones, ink cartridges, and paper
Items not to bring:
- Smoke detectors
- Compressed gas cylinders
- explosives
- radioactive materials
- household cleaners
- pesticides
- herbicides
- drain cleaners
- tires
- light bulbs
- TVs
