The City of Martinsville proudly announces the promotion of Mandy Muse to the position of Water Resources Director. The appointment comes as the current director, Mike Kahle, is set to retire on August 1, 2023, after 15 years of service to the City.

Kahle expressed his delight at the decision to fill his position through an internal promotion. "I've cherished my time as Director of Water Resources, and I have complete confidence that Mandy Muse will excel in this role," he stated. "She has consistently demonstrated her exceptional capabilities in every endeavor, and I am certain this will be no exception."

With an impressive track record as the Environmental Compliance Officer for the Water Resources Department over the past four years, Mandy Muse is eager to take on her new responsibilities and continue the department's tradition of delivering quality service.

"It is an honor to be entrusted with overseeing the City of Martinsville's Water Resources Department," said Muse. "I am committed to upholding the exceptional level of service and water quality that our citizens value."

Under Muse's leadership, the City of Martinsville is poised to maintain its reputation for efficient and reliable water resources management, providing its residents with the highest standards of service and environmental stewardship.
