The most popular sport fish species in the lake are largemouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, and yellow perch. Use of the park and reservoir are restricted to the hours of sunrise to sunset. A boat permit is required to launch boats. Contact the Lake Warden for permits and to report information 252-7766.

Shelter

The shelter accommodates 60 people, his/her restroom, water access, 3 grills, 4 large trash cans, and electric outlets (no lighting). Rent a shelter through the Public Works Department by calling 276-403-5140. There is no key deposit for this shelter rental as Lake Attendants are on site.

Canoe Rentals

Canoe rentals are available. Canoes are stationed at the Reservoir. Canoes are only allowed to be used at the Reservoir. Call us for more information at 276-403-5140.
