MARTINSVILLE OBSERVES THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday the City Municipal Building and administrative offices along with Constitutional offices will close at noon on Wednesday, November 23rd and will reopen on Monday, November 28th.
Outdoor Burning Ban

The County of Henry and City of Martinsville issue burn bans. Allowed by County Code 9.202 and City Code 9-62, County Administrator Tim Hall and City Fire Chief Ted Anderson has issued an immediate ban on all outdoor burning. They join many other jurisdictions within the region to issue such ban.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – The City of Martinsville Public Works Department is preparing to start annual leaf collection activities for 2016.
