About

The City of Martinsville partnered with SeeClickFix to provide residents with the City Fix platform. At present, City Fix can only accept certain requests from residents within the City of Martinsville’s city limits. We are actively working to expand the service area, so please stay tuned for updates!

This platform allows city residents to report non-emergency neighborhood issues directly to local government officials and track the status of community reports.

Residents can report non-emergency issues such as:

  • Broken pole
  • Damaged curb/sidewalk
  • Graffiti/vandalism
  • Pooling/ponding water
  • Unsafe/hazardous materials

If you wish to report an emergency, please be advised of the following:

  • For health and safety emergencies or animal control, please call 911.
  • For electric or water emergencies (e.g., power outage, water line break, water quality or pressure issue, sewer blockage, and sewer overflow), please call 276-403-5138.

SeeClickFix is available on the web or for download as an app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer via the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Create an Account

Before submitting a request, you must create an account. To do so, download SeeClickFix from the app store, search for and select Martinsville as your location, click Profile, and click Register. The app will direct you to a CivicPlus authentication page where you can create an account by entering your email, your first and last name, and a password. You can also sign up on this page via your Apple, Facebook, Google, or Microsoft accounts.

To create an account via the web, search https://seeclickfix.com/martinsville, click Resident Sign In, and click Sign up for a SeeClickFix account. Alternatively, you may see a home page, as pictured below. In that case, click Sign Up in the right-hand corner and fill in the required information to create your account.

Submit a Request

To submit a request, you must create and log into your account. While you may report a problem anonymously, the request is public and requires a location.

  1. Navigate to the reporting page. (Website Link)
  2. Drag the pin to the location of the problem or type in the addressScreenshot 2025-02-13 165833
  3. Click Confirm Location.
  4. Select a Category and/or search for your specific request with the search bar. If you do not see your request category, select Other.Screenshot_20-2-2025_135535_seeclickfix.com
  5. Input a title, provide a description, or upload a photo if appropriate.
  6. Click Confirm Details.
  7. Choose how you would like to submit the request.
  8. Click Next and the Submit Request button.

Track a Request

Every report and its status are publicly available for the community to follow. As city employees work to address your complaint, departments will update each request to notify you of its status as Open, Acknowledged, In Progress, or Closed. Posting a request or interacting with an issue automatically subscribes you to all notification updates on that report, and you can enable or disable notifications at any time.
