Overview
The Commission is empowered with oversight of local Anchor residential, family, and prevention services. The Commission consists of twelve members serving four-year terms; three are appointed by City Council. Six members are appointed by the Henry County Board of Supervisors; three members are appointed by the Patrick County Board of Private Business: It serves as the final authority on personnel matters, approves the annual budget prepared for the local governments, reviews and approves the State budget, annually reviews the treatment programs, approves all major purchases, approves new program, initiates for presentation to the local and state governing bodies, and approves any grant requests.
