 The Board meets in alternate months beginning on February of each year. 



Overview

Created under Title 23, Chapter 16, Section 23-220, of the Code of Virginia, the Board is responsible for: 1-providing recommendations to the State Board on the development of the site plan and on the design and construction of facilities of the College; 2-participating in the selection, evaluation, and removal of the President of the College; 3-eliciting community participation in program planning and development; 4-reviewing and approving a detailed local funds budget for the College; 5-reviewing and approving local regulations on student conduct; and 6-reviewing reports of audit.  The Board consists of fifteen members serving four-year terms; three are appointed by City Council.  The Board meets in alternate months beginning in February of each year in the Exhibit Hall of the Frith Economic Development Center on the College Campus.
